Well, many will invariably go for the shiny sparkly options if they have the money to spend. But think about it, if you are putting your money in such pieces, how much benefit in terms of re-use are you drawing?
Places and occasions to wear such pieces will be very few and, again, you will possibly not want to be seen in the same outfits over and over again. After all, Facebook pictures are known to linger in people’s memories forever! Which is why, your wardrobe’s underdogs need a little more love, care and investment.
Many would call them the wardrobe basics, but I insist on the word underdog - a not-so-clear winner who always steals the show. I am talking about the basic building blocks of every wardrobe like:
